Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers in strict compliance with FMCSA and state regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, bills of lading, and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure a safe delivery environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving) within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
