Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles within NYC metropolitan area
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment and protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic fleet maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with precision
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NYC streets and traffic patterns
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and customer service skills
