Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip for compliance and safety
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route execution
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Michigan roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Team player with customer-focused attitude
