Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within Columbus metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklift certification
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Columbus area routes and Ohio roadways
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
