Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, legal, and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and secure cargo according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
