Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) on established routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- HazMat endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of Kansas City metro area and surrounding states
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Trucking industry safety certifications a plus
