Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles delivering freight across assigned routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent Swift with professionalism in all customer interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Utilize technology for real-time tracking and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
