Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers on interstate and local routes throughout Florida and the Southeast.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, securing loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and possess a valid Social Security Card.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
