Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and any delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques.
- Willingness to undergo paid training if necessary for entry-level positions.
- Good communication skills and time management abilities.
