Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional routes within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Execute pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service to shippers, receivers, and the general public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance, hours of service (HOS), and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks during loading/unloading.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
