Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered in pristine condition.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company regulations regarding hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and road conditions.
- Basic mechanical skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
