Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jack, or by hand) ensuring cargo security.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and log maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (E-Logs) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Practice defensive driving techniques and follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by adhering to delivery schedules and handling freight with care.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen (DOT compliant).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required.
