Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the equipment is in top condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery documents (BOL, manifests).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries and route changes.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements.
- Achieve a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
