Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and proper weight distribution.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and receivers.
- Report maintenance issues immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred (New grads welcome with waiver).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
