Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods safely and efficiently across the state of Pennsylvania and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, weight distribution, and securement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance logs accurately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines while minimizing fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends if necessary.
