Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure fastening and proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, traffic delays, and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to strict safety standards and participate in ongoing safety training.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Class A preferred).
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for cargo weighing and documentation.
- Willingness to complete our training program if you are new to the industry.
