Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and all required paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Navigate delivery routes in Pennsylvania and surrounding regions with a focus on timeliness and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure the safety of the crew and public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cargo handling.
