Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) on various routes, including Albuquerque, NM and California corridors.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Represent the company professionally at loading docks and customer facilities.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Willingness to undergo paid training programs for drivers with no prior experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic English language proficiency for reading road signs and communication.
