Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with all Federal and State regulations (FMCSA).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in pristine condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or Class B with tanker endorsement).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
