Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner to deliver goods to customers in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and billing documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A CDL license required.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- One (1) year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a road test if not previously tested in the last 2 years.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
