Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and within the agreed-upon schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR) and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Card) valid for at least 90 days.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
