Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and electronic logging (ELD) entries accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and trailer, adhering to company appearance standards.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Washington.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
