Responsibilities
- Transport freight safely and efficiently to designated destinations across the region.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing straps.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong English language skills for effective communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts.
