Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and other required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored training programs.
- Basic math skills for reading maps and handling cargo weights.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
