Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic logging device (ELD) records (DOT compliant).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook laws.
