Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on regional routes, including key destinations in Florida.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and prevent mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring cargo security and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and mandatory paperwork in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in Florida as part of the route plan.
