Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo while ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) for the last 3-5 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with navigation systems and route planning software.
