Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring weight distribution is within legal limits.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and digital paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to resolve issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A or Class B (or be willing to obtain one through our paid training program).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
