Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe, legal, and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting and tie-down equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery manifests, and billing documents.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and fleet managers.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) and Motor Carrier Permit.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia and Florida roadways and logistics hubs.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends if required.
