Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in excellent condition, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required documentation (DVIR, bills of lading).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (we offer paid training for Class A).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and customer satisfaction.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
