Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques to ensure safety.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and logbooks accurately.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to strict delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery times.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend maps, GPS systems, and delivery instructions.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
