Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Verify cargo documentation and ensure accurate delivery to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major moving violations.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
