Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and accurate documentation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required; Class B may be considered for local routes.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks is required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
