Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery documentation.
- Navigate efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
