Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Transport cargo from Charlotte, NC to Illinois and other designated regions.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and DOT compliance documentation.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring cargo security.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Basic English reading and writing proficiency for safety compliance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
