Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and in full.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Represent the company professionally at customer delivery points.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and a current DOT drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations and cargo securement procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks.
