Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the protection of goods during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required documentation.
- Adhere to strict time and distance limits to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MVR).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
