Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner on all routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse managers, and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle adjustments if necessary.
