Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and compliant manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Ensure timely delivery of cargo while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and maintain all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Protect company assets and ensure cargo security during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Texas or equivalent).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and professional communication abilities.
- Ability to lift and maneuver cargo straps and equipment as needed.
