Your Role as a CDL Driver

Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Navigate effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle time management effectively.
