Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A & B) to transport goods to and from distribution centers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA safety standards.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Class A or Class B).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a current DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Boston, MA roadways and geography.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
