Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Commercial Vehicles: Operate Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner on highways and local roads.
- Fleet Management: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Freight Handling: Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety standards to prevent damage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, including Hours of Service (HOS) and delivery receipts.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes and navigate using GPS systems to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License.
- Clean Driving Record: No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years and a clean MVR.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old to operate commercial vehicles across state lines.
- Documentation: Current Medical Card and DOT compliant paperwork.
