Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (or eligibility for training program).
- Willingness to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English communication skills for radio dispatch and customer interaction.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
