Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (HOS) and delivery records.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B is required, or eligibility for our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Clean driving record and history.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to read maps and follow directions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
