Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR acceptable).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
