Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo protection.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including electronic logging device (ELD) compliance and mileage tracking.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo paid training programs for candidates with no experience.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety documentation.
