Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in and around the Charlotte metro area.
- Load and unload freight using pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts as needed.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Utilize handheld technology to track deliveries and maintain accurate logs.
- Provide professional customer service to clients during the delivery process.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle cabin and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Basic English proficiency for communication and documentation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
