Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends.
