Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and protected against damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo with or without assistance.
