Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently within the Austin, TX region.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
- Foster a professional relationship with dispatch and warehouse staff.
- Ensure the timely and secure delivery of freight to customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and reporting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
